Speckled Vases²⁰²³

After working mostly with white stoneware, I wanted to try a different clay. The speckled body, light grey scattered with dark dots, caught my eye. I looked for a design that would speak with those marks, keeping most of the surface quiet, interrupted only by a few geometric shapes. These forms come from details I notice in architecture, which I turn into small graphic fragments.
