Urban Sky Echoes

In this series I decided to cover most of the clay body with glaze, which is the opposite to what I was doing so far. I wanted to give more importance to my favorite color: blue. Playing with small graphic elements in negative on the round surface of the vase. The shapes of the vases are an attempt to push the clay further than I actually can, making wide and low bodies with a narrow neck. The unglazed elements connect with the shape of the vase, trying to maintain their straight lines and orthogonal placement on the round surface. Those empty spaces left blank are patterns extracted from urban environments and the beauty I see in the details of architecture.
